As you’ve understood, collaboration is everything to Team for the Planet.
For the first time in human history, we are all facing the same challenge.
For collaboration to be effective, we need exchanges, but most importantly, we need trust.
So naturally, Team for the Planet is firmly committed to total transparency.
With this in mind, we’ve decided to make all our indicators and activities public:
- Amount of funds raised and number of Team for the Planet shareholders.
- Directors’ salaries.
We made a conscious decision and commitment to limit our directors’ salaries to 4 times the French minimum wage.
However, the amount will stay lower as long as the company hasn’t reached an advanced state of operations. In fact, salaries were at 0€ for 2 years and directors' only started to get paid in 2022 (but still at a lower level than the limit we agreed on).
- The Climate Dividends for each one of our companies. It is the main measure of success for our companies and is directly related to their environmental impact.
- The list of all Team for the Planet shareholders who have agreed to appear on our website.
Likewise, transparency is truly part of our philosophy.
It is important for each subsidiary created by Team for the Planet to be managed along the same lines, and for each of its employees to have access to all essential information about it (salaries, bank account, Climate Dividends impact).
This transparency needs to be locked in legally within the articles of association of the company. It is essential for this trust not to be broken, even when the company experiences significant growth.
Open source on an international scale also promotes transparency with regards to Team for the Planet’s discoveries.
Everyone will be able to have access to them through free licenses and to duplicate, improve, and make them available everywhere around the planet.
To this end, all of the company’s technologies will be accessible to everyone, for free, through a licensing system. All this is explained in our article about Open Source, if you’re interested.
